CatchE: Catchall email creator tutorial

CatchE: The Ultimate Tool for Managing Catchalls

We offer a comprehensive tutorial on how to activate and use CatchE, the most powerful tool for creating and managing catchall emails. CatchE automates email creation and includes a feature specifically designed for GSA SER users. If you use GSA SER, CatchE will manage your project emails, keeping them clean and automatically replacing them as needed. CatchE can also periodically create and export new emails to a text file, making it compatible with any other link-building or digital marketing software, eliminating the hassle of email management.

How to activate CatchE

To activate your CatchE license, subscribe here: CatchE

Your license will be activated immediately after purchase. CatchE includes cPanel Email Hosting, allowing you to connect unlimited domains and easily create catchall emails. However, you’re not limited to the provided hosting—you can connect any cPanel hosting to CatchE.

How to configure CatchE for first use

After purchasing, follow these steps to set up CatchE:

1. Connect Your Domain to cPanel Email Hosting

Log in to your member’s area and visit https://gsaserlists.com/my-account/cpanel/ to view your cPanel email hosting information. Here, you will find the specific nameservers (NS) assigned to your email hosting.

Instructions:

  1. Log in to your domain registrar’s control panel (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Hostinger).
  2. Find the DNS or Name Server settings.
  3. Replace the existing entries with the nameservers available at https://gsaserlists.com/my-account/cpanel/ for the domain you have already entered at checkout.
  4. Save your changes and allow up to 24 hours for DNS propagation.

You can check if your domain’s NS records have been updated via intodns.com.

Once updated, proceed to download CatchE.

2. Download CatchE application:

Download the application here: Download CatchE

Extract the zip file and run setup.exe. The setup will install any prerequisites if needed and then proceed to install the main application.

Note: You can add unlimited domains to your email hosting plan.

Buy as many domains as you like, set their NS records with the provided nameservers, and allow up to 24 hours for DNS propagation.

Visit https://gsaserlists.com/my-account/cpanel/ to view your cPanel email hosting information.

Open the Host URL, enter your username and password, and log in to your email host.

  1. Click on “Domains,” then “Create A New Domain.”
  2. Add your domain and click “Submit.”
Important: Your domain will only be successfully added if the NS records have been updated as instructed. If the NS records are not set correctly, the process will not proceed.
  3. Done! You can now create catchall emails under your added domains within CatchE.

How to start working with CatchE

After adding your domains to the email hosting, open CatchE software and log in with your GSA SER Lists credentials. You’ll see the window where you’ll enter your cPanel hosting details (Host URL, username, and password) which have already been provided in your member’s area and click “Connect.” Your hosting details will be saved for future use.

In the main window, you can create new catchall emails, manage existing ones, and export them based on your preferred export type.

How to create catchall emails

To create new catchall emails:

  1. Select your catchall domain from the dropdown list. If you don’t target a specific domain, choose “All available domains,” and CatchE will handle the distribution.
  2. In the “Create Emails” pane, enter the number of catchall emails to create and set the number of threads (simultaneous email creations). For example, creating 10 emails with 5 threads will generate 5 emails at a time in two rounds.
  3. Once created, the right pane updates with new emails. You can select and remove emails or remove emails older than a specified number of days.

How to export catchall emails

To export your catchall emails:

  1. Set your export type from the built-in options or create a custom export type.
  2. You can then “Copy to Clipboard,” “Save to File,” or right-click on selected emails and choose “Copy.”
  3. To define a new export type, click “Manage” next to the export options. Insert your export type name and format using variables like:
    • username: Your catchall email username.
    • password: Your catchall email password.
    • domain: Your catchall email domain.
    • pop3url: The URL/domain used for cPanel login (or a fixed value).

You can check one of the built-in format types to better understand how it works.

Automation in CatchE

CatchE’s main feature is automating the creation and management of catchall emails. To enable automation:

  1. Click “Automation” in the top menu and enable the feature.
  2. Set your interval (from minutes to months). For SEO purposes, a range of 3 to 7 days is recommended.
  3. Optionally, enable the removal of old email accounts, aligning with your set interval.
  4. Choose your export type, including any custom types you’ve created.

For GSA SER users, the “FreshMail Auto-Updater” feature in CatchE offers powerful automation capabilities. When enabled, you can click on the “Select Projects” button to choose the GSA SER projects you want CatchE to manage. Once selected, click “Start Automation,” and CatchE will automatically create new catchall emails and replace them within your chosen GSA SER projects at the intervals you’ve set. This ensures that your projects always have fresh, up-to-date emails without requiring manual intervention.

Host Details and Proxies

Host Details:
Add or import cPanel hosting details manually (Host URL|username|password format). Select any available hosting to connect immediately.

Proxies:
If you encounter issues logging into your cPanel hosting (e.g., IP blocked), you can use a proxy. Add proxies manually or import them (IP:Port:username:password or IP:Port for IP-authenticated proxies). Test proxies and remove invalid ones. Enable proxy usage if you face connection issues.
